Launchpad Coworking: Shared Space in Alabang

Launchpad Coworking

I’ve always envied the North people for having everything within their reach, coworking spaces included. I’ve been to Colab.ph a few times before and the place is perfect for me to get some work done because the vibe is very chill — not as noisy and crowded as Starbucks but not as confined as an office cubicle. If you have been a freelancer for quite some time and having worked in different places, I know you’d agree with me when I say that the work environment greatly affects productivity. Hence the idea of coworking spaces.

Anyway, my friends/former colleagues (who both turned to freelancing as well) recently invited me to check out Launchpad Coworking, a new co-working place in Alabang that has a very trendy, youthful vibe that will surely spark great ideas for your new venture.

Launchpad Outside

Located in Commercenter in Filinvest City, Launchpad Coworking is the newest (and the first?) coworking space in the South. Upon stepping in, I immediately loved the interiors of the place. A place I immediately know I’ll enjoy spending the entire day working.

For 200 bucks per 3 hours, this is so much better than Starbucks because the place is conducive for work and there’s free coffee too!

Their regular monthly rate is at 6,000php/month (M-F, 9am-7pm) but they have an AMAZING introductory promo that you may check out here. They also offer 24-hour access, which is 7,200php/month (no aircon once the mall closes, fan only).

Launchpad Coworking Couch Area

Being a desk junkie, I love the variations of chair and desks because I tend to shift positions after several hours of being in the same spot. When we visited, only a few people are coworking with us so the place is quiet. On Saturdays and Mondays they often hold seminars and workshops that are mostly free for monthly members. They announce upcoming events on their Facebook page and on the chalkboard (pictured above).

If you’re a freelancer from the South and want to get out of the house for a while and work elsewhere, I highly recommend Launchpad Coworking. Having a decent coworking space in the South has always been my wish and I wanna thank the people behind Launchpad for finally making it happen!
